Portofino Investments served as the exclusive Advisor in a stock allocation transaction between ORC and “Poalim Equity” – Bank Hapoalim’s investment arm. Following a previous transaction between the parties, also led by Portofino, where Poalim Equity invested in Reem Holdings, a subsidiary of ORC and a leading income-producing Real Estate company, the current transaction included a stock-swap, in which Poalim became a partner in ORC and positioned ORC as the dominant stakeholder in Reem. The transaction was designed by Portofino in order to facilitate Poalim’s strategic decision to expand its exposure to ORC, which holds additional assets and knowhow, and is considered to be one of the leading firms in its sector in Israel.
